University issues, student holds, verifier validates

With PDW, the university issues the diploma as a cryptographically signed digital credential. The student stores it in their wallet. When applying for a job, the recruiter validates authenticity via a simple QR Code.

End-to-end flow

How it works, from diploma to job offer

  1. Step 1
    University issues

    The institution cryptographically signs the diploma and sends it directly to the student's PDW.

  2. Step 2
    Student stores

    The diploma is encrypted on the user's device. Nobody — not the university nor the state — can access it without consent.

  3. Step 3
    Recruiter verifies

    Scanning a QR Code validates the signature with the EBSI network in seconds, without contacting the issuing university.
